 Detroit’s largest ethnic festival and one of the most widely anticipated events of the summer, presented by the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History is the 32nd Annual African World Festival. Hours are Friday, Aug. 15 through Sun., August 17, 2014 from 11am – 11pm each day. The festival is free and more than 150,000 people are expected to attend the weekend celebration of a full range of communities representing the African Diaspora.
